Radisson Resort Orlando Celebration Guest Comments
Enjoyable Stay
We stayed here for the last two weeks in October. By far, it was one of the most suitable hotels we have stayed in within convenient reach of the disney parks. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about the place. Rooms were clean, hotel a little dated but show me a hotel in the orlando area (in a reasonable price range) that isnt a bit dated?
The hotel was great for us. The pool was awesome, main pool was the largest and was very safe. Kiddie splash pool right beside. The smaller pool on the top level was the heated pool, but it was not used very much, mybe because it didnt refresh you to take a dip in a heated pool on a hot day? I dont know. I preferred the cooler main pool myself. Our 2 kids loved all 3. Plenty of things for them to do every hour when the pool staff called the kids out to play over the tannoy. (pool games, treasure hunts, etc).
Water slide, 2 hot tubs, tiki bar, waterfalls. Generally pretty quiet. Both the kids, my wife and I really enjoyed the pool, so much in fact we settled into a routine of going to the theme parks in the morning (less crowded) and back to the pool in the afternoon for R&R. Very relaxing vacation.
Pizza hut on site, Starbucks coffee and various other foods on offer from the one restaurant in the main building. Any of the food we ate was reasonably priced and good to eat. The other restaurant on the other side of the complex looked spacious and comfortable but we didn't eat there, so I cant offer anything about the food or service. Less than 2 miles east of the hotel on irlo bronson highway, all the regular restaurants to be found, (tgi fridays, outback steakhouse, olive garden, ihop, perkins, Bennigans etc etc) Carrabba's italian restaurant, very tasty grub there. No shortage of restaurants to choose from, a few minutes drive from the hotel.
We didnt have to pay for car parks or resort fees or tv fees on site, I'm not sure what folks were talking about there, maybe we were off season having visited in October?
Ample car parking in a secure car park. The gates were closed at around 10pm and after that you have to use swipe card for access at the barrier. Air conditioning in the hotel was very good. Once inside the door, the whole building was cool and refreshing. The individual A/C in the rooms was also good. Typical "box on the floor" unit that hummed as it did its thing cooling the room. Free WIFI (500k) in the room with an individual wireless router on the dressing table. Never had any problems with it, worked fine every day for skype etc. Room staff were meticulous with our room, kept it clean and tidy every day and stocked with clean towels etc. The beds were very comfortable, nice duvets and comfy pillows.
The hotel was very close to the parks without being "resort tacky" if u know what I mean. Typical Raddison fare. The kids enjoyed feeding the ducks and turtles in the hotel ponds, and watching them from the walkways. Watch out for the duck poops in the mornings if you were up earlier than the maintenance people who washed the walkways down twice a day.
All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. If we go back to orlando again, we will return to this hotel.

Great hotel with lots to do
The rooms were very clean and nice. The room that we got was in the 2nd floor and had a great view of the spa and the rocks. The room smelled really good too. It was bright and open. The service was great, the people were very nice and helpful. But something that was also interesting was that the employees were from all over the world. There was an employee that was from England. And there was also an employee from South Africa. There was a game room with few games but it was fun. The location of the game room was in a hidden corner near the pool and restaurant, so if you can't find it ask an employee. The pool was great! Even though we didn't get to go in it but from the looks of it, it was great. The beds were amazing! It was a sleep number bed. We set the bed on 20 and I sunk into it. The fitness center was pretty cool. Through the bridge was a pond with fish and lilies. Also in the parking lot, you will find a family of ducks. The overall experience was the best!!!

Treated like royalty
This hotel was the clincher for my perfect family trip weekend. This hotel is very easy to get to from the I-4 freeway and check-in was a breeze. During the check-in process, one of my party members misplaced their iTouch in the lobby; we were promptly notified by the front desk that it was found and would be waiting for us at the front desk. The rooms were spacious, clean, and up-to-date. The "Sleep Number" bed was an unexpected treat. The beds are made with all washable 'linens'; there was no questionable bed spreads, refreshingly it was a freshly laundered duvet.
The next morning was started with a quick breakfast at the Deli-Dinner and then off to the many pools on-site for a day of relaxation. The chairs were plentiful and in great repair. The pool water was clean, clear, and perfect temperature for a day of fun. Food and beverage were allowed poolside, and there were plenty of refreshment options for all members of the family. The fresh pizza from the 'tiki hut" was fresh, delicious, and enjoyed by all.

Very pleased with this hotel
After reading most of the reviews on this site-I was a bit skeptical about staying here after I had already booked. I have to honestly say that my husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The staff was helpful and pleasant-the rooms were very clean and the sleep number bed was extremely comfortable. I did read a lot about the air conditioner in the room being very noisy and musty/leaking-we did not experience any of these problems. Although we did not get to experience the pools because it rained all the days we were there, they looked really nice. The grounds were beautiful and well manicured. The shuttle service to the parks were great...timely, air conditioned w/ comfy seats and a t.v. to help pass the time although we were only a mere 10 minute drive away :-) We did eat one night at Mandolins and while it was nothing to write home about-we enjoyed what we had. There is an amazing steak restaurant right across the street named "Charlie's"-if you get the chance-treat yourself and go there...you will not be disappointed!!! Coming from NY-we have gone to more than our fair share of great steak houses and this one is at the top of the list.
Overall, the stay was great. You have to take the negative reviews with a grain of salt-to each his own I guess-but we were happy with our experience at this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Went the Extra Mile
My fiance and I stayed at this location Saturday April 25, 2009. We were chaperones for Grad Bash and checked in at 3:30 a.m. I called to ask for late check out early Sunday morning and the management gave us two extra hours at no charge. I like the hotel for the location and the roomy hotel rooms. This was just another reason why I would stay here if visiting the theme parks. This was our second stay, and we will stay here again.
